Front Desk Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and clients in a friendly and professional manner
-Checkin/Check out of patients
- Answer phone calls, return calls , and process voicemail in timely manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- File and maintain patient records and other important documents in patient EMR
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, photocopying, scanning, and faxing
-Assist with basic lab functions
- Help around the office for various tasks
-Money handling , collection of copayments, co-insurance and balances
-Bilingual a plus
-Basic toxicology lab processes a plus
Experience:
-Medical office experience required
- Previous experience working as a front desk staff or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance and procedures
- Proficient in using Google Suite and other office software
- Excellent customer service skills
-Collection experience preferred
