Spherion Staffing has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced executive finance leader. As the Director of Finance, you will direct and oversee all financial strategy, compliance, administration, tax, and legal activities across our global multi-site operations.

Base salary at $195,000 Base Salary 15% Target Bonus ($215,000 Total Target Compensation)
Travel: Up to 25% nationally & internationally
Responsibilities:
-Strategic Leadership & Advisory: Partner directly with the C-suite on strategic planning, expansion opportunities, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational restructurings.
-Financial Planning & Forecasting: Drive the organizational budgeting and forecasting process; analyze actual performance against targets to guide business decisions.
-Financial Reporting & Close: Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial statements, shareholder reporting, and governmental filings.
-Operational Leadership: Directly manage and mentor department heads across Accounting, Controlling, and IT.
-Compliance & Financial Operations: Manage legal compliance, cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, tax strategy, and complex international transfer pricing.
-Systems & Continuous Improvement: Lead strategic technology initiatives, including system implementations, digital transformation, and ERP system enhancements.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
MBA, Master's in Finance, and/or CPA certification.

Qualifications:
-Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
-Leadership Experience: 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
-Accounting Expertise: Strong proficiency in accrual-based accounting, work-in-process (WIP) accounting, and project-based job costing.
-Global Standards: Demonstrated experience in U.S. GAAP and international standards (IFRS and/or HGB).
-Technical Proficiency: Deep experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced financial reporting software.
-Core Competencies: Outstanding communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with a proven track record of managing cross-cultural, multi-site teams.
