Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. In addition, Spherion offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).

- Spherion WI & Northern IL is expanding our Skilled Trades practice to help regional manufacturers solve critical hiring shortages. As a Skilled Trades Recruiter, you will manage a "full desk"-proactively sourcing top talent while simultaneously building relationships with local industrial employers.
- We welcome candidates from recruiting, B2B sales, manufacturing, or workforce development backgrounds. Prior industry experience is helpful but not required; we provide comprehensive training for driven, coachable, and curious professionals. This is a local, relationship-driven role requiring regular office presence and client site visits.
- Conduct outbound sales and networking to build relationships with manufacturing leaders.
- Source and pipeline skilled trades talent via job boards, social media, and community outreach.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on workforce planning, pay trends, and hiring.
- Manage the full hiring lifecycle: interview coordination, offers, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records within internal systems and contribute to team goals.
Open to backgrounds in sales, recruiting, customer service, or manufacturing.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organization skills.
- Curiosity about technical roles and how businesses operate.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and US work authorization.
- Plus: Prior staffing or skilled trades experience (CNC, welding, maintenance).
- Prior staffing industry or technical/skilled trades recruiting experience.
- Familiarity with industrial roles (e.g., CNC machinists, welders, maintenance technicians).
- Salary: $55,000 - $75,000/year base performance-based incentive program.
