Spherion Wisconsin & Northern Illinois, in partnership with Findorff, is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead the company's enterprise technology function.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations, the Director of Information Technology will provide strategic leadership across infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT service delivery, and technology project delivery while partnering closely with Business Solutions and leaders throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who enjoys developing people, building strong cross-functional partnerships, and aligning technology with business goals through practical, well-executed solutions.
What you’ll do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Findorff's enterprise technology organization, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT service delivery, cloud technologies, technology project delivery, and enterprise technology operations
- Develop and execute the company's technology strategy, roadmap, governance framework, and technology portfolio in alignment with business objectives
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members by fostering collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth
- Partner with Business Solutions and business leaders to improve the reliability and performance of business-critical platforms, including CMiC, Oracle, Azure-hosted services, Microsoft technologies, and other core systems
- Collaborate with Business Solutions to support enterprise applications, systems integration, data and analytics initiatives, and technology projects that improve business operations
- Establish consistent project governance, prioritization, resource planning, and performance metrics to ensure successful technology delivery
- Oversee enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, business continuity, identity and access management, and IT service management while ensuring secure and reliable technology operations
- Support and advance enterprise data, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives that improve reporting, decision-making, and operational performance through collaboration with the Business Solutions team
- Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, managed services, and strategic technology investments
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by communicating technology priorities, opportunities, risks, and outcomes in clear business terms
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus
- 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least five years leading multiple technology disciplines, managers, or technical leaders
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology functions, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT service delivery, cloud technologies, software development, data and analytics, and technology project delivery
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, hybrid infrastructure, networking, servers, identity and access management, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, business continuity, disaster recovery, and cloud technologies
- Knowledge of enterprise applications, ERP systems, business analysis, software development, systems integration, data governance, business intelligence, and technology modernization initiatives as it relates to infrastructure
- Working knowledge of CMiC, Oracle, Snowflake, Tableau, Microsoft development technologies, or similar enterprise platforms is beneficial
- Proven experience with technology governance, project and portfolio management, budgeting, financial management, vendor management, contract negotiations, and strategic planning
- Strong background leading organizational change, establishing operational standards, managing risk, and driving continuous improvement across enterprise technology functions
- Executive communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people, fostering accountability, resolving challenges, and aligning technology initiatives with business priorities
- Ability to effectively support a multi-site organization, with the flexibility to travel to offices and jobsites as needed
- Background within construction, engineering, professional services, or another distributed, project-based organization is highly preferred

Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
