Core Responsibilities: Strategic Talent Delivery
The Recruiter is accountable for full-cycle talent acquisition, utilizing independent judgment to manage a high-volume pipeline and ensure client success.
I. Pipeline Development & Sourcing
- Strategic Sourcing: Proactively leverage all available technology (internal databases, job boards, social networks) to develop, manage, and maintain robust candidate pipelines for core skill areas.
- Community Integration: Actively promote brand awareness and attract talent by leading Community-Based Recruiting efforts, including local networking and career events.
- Lead Generation: Generate qualified leads and referrals to expand the talent pool.
II. Candidate Management & Placement
- Consultative Vetting: Perform thorough prescreening and interviewing, then expertly match qualified candidates to open requisitions.
- Executive Presentation: Prepare and deliver Most Placeable Candidate (MPC) Presents to clients to expedite the placement cycle.
- End-to-End Support: Facilitate smooth transitions through the entire process, including scheduling, onboarding, and administrative tasks (skill assessments, background/credit checks, compliance, documentation, etc.).
III. Employee Care & Mentorship
- Retention Focus: Manage the On Assignment Care Program to maximize employee job satisfaction, safety, and retention throughout their tenure.
- Team Leadership: Coach and mentor the Recruiting Coordinator, providing guidance and support to enhance overall team effectiveness.
- Process Compliance: Embody Spherion's core values while consistently executing the Spherion Operating Model best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of demonstrable, successful recruiting experience - Preferred but not a must have
- Plus: Experience in high-volume Temporary and Permanent Staffing, specifically for Light Industrial, Administrative & Clerical, or Non-Clinical Healthcare roles, is a significant advantage.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree. - Must have
- Skills: Proven ability to excel in a very fast-paced team environment; strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US.
