Web Content Assistant / Client Support (Junior)
Location: Millington, TN (Navy Personnel Command – Public Affairs Office)
Schedule: Full-time (8 hrs/day)

Overview
We are seeking a Junior Web Content Assistant / Client Support professional to support the MyNavy HR website for Navy Personnel Command. This role blends web content maintenance with client-facing technical support, making it a strong fit for candidates coming from web content, CMS, or helpdesk/technical support backgrounds.
This is a backfill due to promotion with strong potential for extension or placement on another active federal project.
Key Responsibilities
Web Content & Site Support
- Review, update, and publish website content in compliance with DoD and SECNAV guidelines
- Assist with content approvals and communicate with internal contributors
- Maintain content using CMS platforms (SharePoint preferred)
- Perform basic HTML edits and formatting
- Update content based on policy or guideline changes
Image & Media Management
- Coordinate with contributors to source appropriate images
- Resize and edit images using Adobe tools (Photoshop/Dreamweaver)
- Ensure all images meet Navy and DoD style standards
Client-Facing Helpdesk & Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal website users and contributors
- Provide day-to-day technical support related to content updates and site access
- Monitor and respond to user inquiries via the webmaster mailbox
- Coordinate with service desk and customer service teams as needed
Training & Documentation
- Support monthly training sessions for content contributors
- Assist with onboarding new users and account setup
- Update training materials, documentation, and guides
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in web content, helpdesk, technical support, or client-facing IT support
- Familiarity with SharePoint or other CMS platforms
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Experience with Adobe Dreamweaver (key skill)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Federal, DoD, Navy, or military project experience
- AFPIMS familiarity
- Active or prior Secret clearance
- Adobe Photoshop experience

Salary : $60,000 - $63,000
