Senior Electrical Engineer – Mission Critical (Data Centers)

This is an opportunity to work on a greenfield construction project for a hyperscale, data center project. If you’re an experienced electrical engineer who thrives in complex, high-performance environments, this role offers the chance to lead impactful work from concept through commissioning.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering complex construction projects, with a focus on data centers and mission critical facilities.

• Lead electrical scope execution from preconstruction through commissioning
• Develop and manage M/E estimates, system analysis, and value engineering strategies
• Oversee power distribution, critical systems, and infrastructure coordination
• Drive project scheduling, sequencing, and constructability reviews
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and equipment procurement
• Lead commissioning efforts, including system testing and validation
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure performance and compliance
• Partner with clients and support project pursuits and business development
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development

Preferred Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering (or related field)
• 10 years of experience in construction with a strong electrical focus
• Experience with mission critical facilities, data centers, or large-scale infrastructure (alternatively background in the Navy/nuclear is good)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and construction processes
• Experience with project management, scheduling, and budgeting
• Familiarity with BIM, commissioning processes, and construction technology tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
