Project Director
We're seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the development and delivery of large-scale mission-critical and infrastructure projects.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing projects from pre-development and design through construction, commissioning, and handover. The Project Director will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership for the successful delivery of large-scale capital projects.
- Direct all phases of project execution, from planning and pre-construction through commissioning and operational handover.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including development, design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, risk mitigation, and executive reporting.
- Oversee contractor, consultant, and vendor performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive safety, quality, and compliance standards across all project activities.
- Coordinate design development, procurement, construction execution, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Manage utility, permitting, regulatory, and jurisdictional interfaces to support project delivery.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract administration, procurement strategies, and change management processes.
- Establish governance structures and reporting frameworks to ensure project transparency and accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, utility providers, and external partners.
- Ensure successful delivery across multiple concurrent projects and geographically dispersed sites.
What We're Looking For
- 15 years of experience leading large-scale construction, infrastructure, mission-critical, industrial, or development projects.
- Demonstrated success delivering complex capital projects from concept through completion.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery, construction management, project controls, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and external delivery partners.
- Strong commercial acumen, including budgeting, contracting, procurement, and financial oversight.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive project outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Preferred Experience
- Data center, mission-critical, industrial, energy, utility, or large-scale infrastructure developments.
- Experience delivering projects in complex, fast-paced, multi-site environments.
- Familiarity with EPC, CMAR, Design-Build, or other alternative delivery models.
- Knowledge of utility infrastructure, power systems, commissioning, and operational readiness.
- PMP, CCM, PE, MBA, or other relevant professional certifications.
Salary : $180,000 - $230,000
