Speech Therapy Works is a private practice located in Sugar Land, Texas. We are looking for someone that can work 1-2 days per week (Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays), between the approximate hours of 7:15 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role involves working with patients of all ages, with a focus on early intervention and pediatric care. The Speech-Language Pathologist will collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans that enhance communication skills and improve overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities in patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to patients in a private practice setting.
- Implement early intervention strategies for children with communication delays.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families about speech disorders and therapeutic techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
- Stay current with best practices in speech therapy through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Current license to practice in Texas as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech disorders.
- Familiarity with anatomy and physiology relevant to speech production.
- Experience in patient assessment and developing treatment plans is preferred.
- Background in working with pediatrics is required. Background in working with adults is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
