Position Summary
The Enterprise Business Development Representative (EBDR) is responsible for developing and strategically growing new customer accounts across a multitude of industries through prospecting and cold calling. The EBDR will use prospecting and consultative selling skills, to actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through active networking and sending personal, strategic, value-add emails, calls, and social messages. You will be required to quickly research a company, identify opportunities, and strategize an approach to create an interest. You will be developing relationships with department directors, and C-level executives. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of a dynamic sales team and culture.
Essential Job Functions
· Target Mid-Market to Enterprise accounts
· Set qualified face to face and webinar appointments for our Enterprise and Mid-Market sales teams
· Identifying and developing new opportunities within assigned markets
· Generate business through proactive outreach to new customers via cold calling, email, social media, and other prospecting techniques
· Produce 75-100 calls a day to new prospects
· Work with management to create strategic targets to identify and generate new business opportunities
· Research, qualify, manage, and track leads and related sales activities utilizing data and engagement resources such as Hubspot and Apollo.io.
· Maintain knowledge of company products/services and upcoming new offerings
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
· Proven track record of developing new customer accounts requiring heavy prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting and closing ability
· Demonstrable executive-level verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to learn quickly and think analytically
· Active listening skills
· Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques
· Excellent communication and time management skills
· Motivated, driven, self-starting, positive attitude
· Working understanding of telecommunications technologies
Job Requirements
· Four-year college degree preferred.
· 4 years’ experience of outbound B2B Enterprise sales/development experience OR a combination of work experience and education
· Cold calling experience required
· Have a verifiable track record of success and goal attainment in a sales orientated role
