Responsibilities
- Source, identify, and develop a pipeline of qualified Accounting & Finance professionals for current and future opportunities.
- Conduct candidate interviews via phone, video, and in-person meetings to assess experience, technical knowledge, career goals, and overall fit.
- Review resumes and evaluate accounting/finance backgrounds including areas such as general ledger, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit, grants, and other specialized function.
- Ask strategic and thoughtful questions to uncover candidate strengths, motivations, and career objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact, providing guidance and market insight to candidates. Partner with internal teams and clients to understand hiring needs and deliver qualified talent.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and manage recruiting activity through internal systems.
- Meet and exceed weekly performance goals related to sourcing, outreach, interviews, and placements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related field preferred.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working toward measurable goals.
- High energy, curiosity, and a genuine interest in helping professionals advance their careers.
- Ability to confidently engage with professionals at all levels, from Staff Accountants through Controllers and CFOs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn recruiting technology platforms.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
