Our client, a well-known non-profit organization, is searching for an experienced Payroll Supervisor to lead payroll operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll while ensuring accuracy of wages, taxes, deductions, and direct deposits.
- Maintain payroll, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, timekeeping, and employee records.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, prepare payroll adjustments, and reconcile payroll-related reports.
- Administer payroll compliance, including payroll tax regulations, W-2 reporting, I-9 documentation, benefits deductions, retirement contributions, and payroll record retention.
- Reconcile benefits invoices and assist with PTO payouts, tuition reimbursements, and other payroll-related transactions.
- Support HR with onboarding, employee communications, performance review administration, and other departmental initiatives.
- Maintain payroll process documentation while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Workday)
- Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations, W-2s, deductions, benefits administration, and compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS systems, timekeeping, and employee data management
- Strong Excel skills with exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
