Procurement Manager (IT & Enterprise Services)
Overview
We are seeking a highly strategic Procurement Manager to support enterprise-wide technology purchasing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on financial negotiation, contract strategy, and vendor optimization. This role operates as a key advisor within the finance organization, partnering closely with executive leadership, IT stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive value across a complex portfolio of software, hardware, and services.
This is not a transactional purchasing role—this individual will serve as a true business partner, leading high-impact negotiations, shaping procurement strategy, and influencing enterprise-level decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities across a diverse IT portfolio, including software, hardware, and professional services
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership (CIO, Finance executives, etc.) on sourcing decisions, contract structures, and vendor strategy
- Negotiate complex enterprise agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, maintenance, and hardware-related contracts
- Drive cost savings and value creation through effective negotiation of pricing, terms, and service level agreements
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and financial goals
- Evaluate vendor proposals and perform total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to support decision-making
- Manage relationships with resellers, distributors, and direct vendors, ensuring optimal performance and compliance
- Lead contract renewals and present strategic options to leadership, including risk/reward tradeoffs
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and support resolution of contract, licensing, and service issues
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into procurement strategies
- Ensure all procurement activities align with internal policies, compliance requirements, and applicable regulations (including FAR where applicable)
- Provide guidance to project teams on complex purchasing decisions and proactively address risk
Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or contract negotiation within a complex organization
- Strong background negotiating enterprise-level software agreements and commercial contracts
- Experience with IT procurement, including SaaS, software licensing, hardware, and associated services
- Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and improve contract outcomes through effective negotiation strategies
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze vendor proposals and build business cases
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership in a consultative capacity
- Knowledge of reseller and distributor ecosystems within technology procurement
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
