Senior Program Manager

SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex manufacturing programs from customer award through successful production launch. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality expectations. The ideal candidate is a strong cross-functional leader with experience managing new product introductions in highly regulated manufacturing environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead multiple complex manufacturing programs from project kickoff through production transfer.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, ensuring expectations, timelines, and deliverables are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling, Operations, and Sales.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and status updates.
• Drive new product introduction activities and oversee successful program launches.
• Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, including FMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, PPAP documentation, capability studies, Gage R&R, and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Participate in customer design and development meetings to provide manufacturing expertise and technical guidance.
• Facilitate project meetings including kickoff, design reviews, specification reviews, and post-project evaluations.
• Manage engineering change processes and coordinate documentation updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee supplier performance, purchased tooling, equipment procurement, and external project deliverables.
• Partner with Manufacturing to ensure a smooth transition of new products into production.
• Identify equipment, tooling, and process requirements needed to support successful launches.
• Monitor project risks, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation while communicating progress to customers and leadership.
• Support quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist business development efforts by supporting technical discussions and new customer opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7 years of program management, engineering, product development, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience supporting medical device, aerospace, automotive, or other precision manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and new product introduction processes.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and quality management systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with GMP, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Project.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship management skills.
