RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion.
- Prepare and review financial statements, audit workpapers, and supporting documentation.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accounting professionals throughout engagements.
- Partner directly with clients to provide exceptional service and address accounting and audit-related matters.
- Identify opportunities to improve audit processes and increase efficiency through technology and best practices.
- Ensure engagements are completed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with professional standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 4–6 years of progressive audit experience, including at least 2 years within a public accounting firm.
- Experience managing audit engagements from planning through final delivery.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring staff preferred.
- Proficiency with audit software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- CPA license preferred or actively pursuing certification.
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
