RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions, including cycle counting and order expediting
- Follow safety protocols and ensure upkeep of warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Operate a range of forklifts and warehouse vehicles safely and effectively
- Utilize barcode scanners and handheld devices for efficient inventory tracking
- Apply lean warehouse principles and follow FIFO practices to maintain flow and minimize waste
- Support both international and domestic shipping processes
- Use warehouse management systems and contribute to ongoing process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; mechanical aptitude preferred (1-2 years of experience ideal)
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on warehouse/shipping experience
- Skilled in operating multiple types of forklifts
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and using safety equipment including hard hat, steel toe boots, and safety glasses
- Familiarity with handheld scanning tools and barcode readers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Verifiable and consistent work history
