RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections throughout manufacturing operations.
- Identify, segregate, and document nonconforming materials or products.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
- Assist with investigations of quality issues and support corrective action activities.
- Develop and update inspection checklists, reports, and related quality documentation.
- Partner with production and management teams to improve quality processes and reduce defects.
- Communicate quality concerns and provide guidance to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Verify that established quality procedures and standards are consistently followed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection or related manufacturing experience.
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of AS9100 or similar quality systems preferred.
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is a plus.
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
