SUMMARY
The QC Sample & Stability Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Quality Control department by managing stability programs, coordinating sample submissions, and ensuring proper documentation and tracking of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples. This role supports laboratory functions and contributes to quality assurance through data integrity, timely follow-ups, and organized reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate the submission of raw materials, stability, and finished product samples to third-party testing laboratories, including preparation of forms and shipment.
• Input and update sample data in internal management systems such as sample tracking and stability software.
• Monitor stability chambers, log temperature and humidity, and initiate or load samples based on study requirements.
• Pull samples according to schedule, update inventory, and ensure efficient organization of storage spaces.
• Track testing status, follow up on pending results, and maintain accurate records in tracking files.
• Enter test results into software systems and transcribe data into specifications upon receipt of Certificates of Analysis.
• Create and revise protocols and specifications related to stability studies and product testing.
• Generate stability summaries and perform regression analyses to support ongoing studies and product evaluations.
• Assist in preparing data and reports for Annual Product Quality Reviews (APQR).
• Manage inventory and handling of reagents, samples, standards, and lab supplies to support in-house testing needs.
• Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and sample management software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Discreet and professional when handling confidential information.
• Willingness to work a standard 40-hour week, with flexibility for occasional overtime as needed.
