Production Technician

SUMMARY

Hands-on manufacturing opportunity supporting the production of precision components used in highly regulated, quality-focused applications. This second-shift role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed assembly and fabrication work, moving between different workstations, and learning new production processes. On-the-job training is provided, with an emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, consistent quality, and meeting production schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform light assembly and a variety of fabrication processes using common hand tools and production equipment.
• Complete precision production steps such as drilling, eyeleting, printing/etching, lasing and soldering in accordance with applicable work instructions.
• Operate press equipment and other manufacturing machinery after receiving proper training.
• Support bonding, lamination, plating and related production processes as needed.
• Move between workstations based on production priorities and departmental needs.
• Follow established quality requirements and maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Work closely with team members to understand job requirements, meet schedules and support consistent product quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous production, manufacturing, assembly or related hands-on experience preferred; training may be provided for candidates with the right mechanical aptitude and work ethic.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Comfort using common hand tools and learning fabrication or production equipment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain detailed, accurate records.
• Experience with soldering, bonding, lamination or plating is a plus.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, military or other highly regulated manufacturing environments is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing production needs.
• Ability to meet applicable security-clearance eligibility requirements.
• Willingness to complete initial training on a daytime/split schedule before transitioning fully to second shift.
