SUMMARY
We are seeking a Healthcare Quality Improvement Manager to support healthcare performance improvement initiatives across multiple care settings. This remote role requires periodic travel to client sites in Pennsylvania and offers the opportunity to partner with healthcare leaders, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams to drive measurable improvements in patient care, operational effectiveness, and quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience leading collaborative improvement efforts and applying quality improvement methodologies within healthcare environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and support healthcare quality improvement initiatives designed to enhance clinical and operational outcomes.
• Establish clear improvement objectives, performance metrics, and measurable success indicators.
• Facilitate the formation and engagement of multidisciplinary teams focused on process and quality improvement.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and problem-solving support to improvement teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Coordinate and manage multiple teams participating in collaborative improvement programs.
• Analyze healthcare workflows and care delivery processes using process mapping and flowcharting techniques.
• Develop, maintain, and interpret facility-level and system-level performance data, including annotated time-series charts.
• Aggregate and evaluate data across multiple locations to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement priorities.
• Utilize Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) methodology and other quality management tools to test and implement process improvements.
• Monitor outcomes, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and recommend adjustments based on performance data.
• Support iterative testing and refinement of improvement strategies to achieve targeted results.
• Facilitate project closeout activities, including lessons learned sessions and development of change management documentation.
• Deliver technical assistance, training, and group facilitation sessions both virtually and onsite.
• Travel to healthcare facilities in Pennsylvania as needed to support client engagement and project objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience leading or supporting healthcare quality improvement, performance improvement, or process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of quality improvement methodologies, including PDSA cycles and collaborative improvement models.
• Experience developing performance measures, analyzing healthcare data, and interpreting quality metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate multidisciplinary teams and manage group dynamics effectively.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience creating process maps, flowcharts, dashboards, and performance reports.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration and communication platforms.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites throughout Pennsylvania.
