Senior Fixed Assets Accountant

Compensation: Up to $110K base 20% bonus

Spectrum Search Group is partnering with a Fortune 100 energy company to add a Senior Fixed Assets Accountant to their growing team in North Dallas.

What you’ll be doing:
- Review and analyze capital projects to ensure proper accounting treatment
- Partner with operations/field teams to track construction projects and ensure timely asset capitalization
- Manage fixed asset activity including additions, transfers, retirements, and depreciation
- Perform variance analysis, roll forwards, and support month-end close
- Assist with audit support (financial & SOX) and ongoing reporting of capital spend
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 5–8 years of fixed assets accounting experience within a large company environment
- Strong ERP experience (SAP highly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
- Excellent communication skills and proven stability/tenure
