Lead Accountant

Spectrum Search is working with a fast-growing holding company in Irving that is looking for a Lead Accountant to join a sharp corporate accounting team. This opportunity offers great exposure to acquisitions, system improvements, and high-level corporate close work.

Responsibilities:

• Execute key components of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries with proper supporting documentation
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support consolidations and financial statement reporting
• Analyze monthly results and variances for leadership
• Partner with AP, AR, FP&A, Treasury, and Payroll to ensure accurate accruals and reporting
• Support audits and system improvement initiatives (ERP enhancements, reporting tools)

What's needed:

• 3 years of public accounting experience
• Active CPA certification
• Strong GAAP knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Sharp, detail-oriented, self-starter mindset
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

This role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office), genuine work/life balance with true 40–45 hour weeks, and a great resume-building opportunity. Pay is $110k–$118k base 10% bonus.
