LAB MANAGER – INORGANIC & ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY
Location: American Fork, UT
Reports to: Senior Technical Scientist
Compensation: $100 - $120K

Your Role:
As a Lab Manager you will lead daily lab operations in our inorganic & analytical chemistry laboratory. You’ll oversee workflow, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and guide a talented team. You’ll play a key part in advancing experimental design, analytical testing, and lab management practices that support groundbreaking work in selective metal separation and purification.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the lab.
- Design and execute experiments to measure selective absorption of metals in column-based systems.
- Collaborate closely with scientists, engineers, and production teams for successful outcomes.
- Oversee scheduling, sample processing, and project timelines.
- Maintain instruments and lab resources in optimal working condition.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, quality assurance processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise, train, and mentor lab staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
What You’ll Bring:
- Advanced degree in Chemistry or related discipline with a strong knowledge of analytical chemistry.
- Solid background in inorganic compounds and analytical techniques such as AAS, ICP-MS, etc.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with proven success in lab oversight.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with reports, papers, and presentations.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external teams.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
