Spectral AI is looking for a team-oriented electrical engineer intern who will work closely with Electrical Engineering team to support our current and future medical imaging devices.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with electronics design of a Medical Imaging System.
- Assist with writing electronics hardware design specifications and circuit designs.
- Assist in troubleshoots and debugs system level problems down to root causes with respect to circuit design, firmware, PCB and component failures.
- Assist in component selection to solve obsolete components issues.
- Assist in board level design verification testing and documentation.
- Assist in design and testing of test fixtures for use in a production environment.
- Assist in system level performance testing and documentation.
- In process of obtaining a BS or a graduate degree in a relevant degree (in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with a focus on Electrical system design and development.)
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment producing high quality products on tight timelines.
- Must have right to work in the US
- Understanding of engineering first principles
- Familiarity with common CAD software packages (Altium Designer, OrCAD, Allegro, Solidworks, etc.)
- Software development skills in C or C
- Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with design, prototyping, and manufacturing processes
