Role Name: Quality Program Consultant
Location: Columbia, SC 29223
Work Environment: Hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - Onsite)
Contract length: 11 months assignment with possible conversion
Shift: Mon - Fri, 7:00–8:00 AM to 3:30–4:30 PM (overtime maybe required as per business needs)
Summary:
Provides direction and guidance for implementing and improving the Quality Management Systems at the subsidiary or organization level. Ensures operating areas within authority achieves and maintains applicable quality management system registration. Responsible for related education, communications, and support activities, including auditing activities. May coordinate related activities in each operating division.
- Responsibilities: 20% Provides support and education for all areas in the subsidiary or company implementing and maintaining the quality management system certification. This includes overseeing improvement activities and management review activities.
- 20% Provides internal auditing support for all functional areas and provides appropriate management feedback on audit results. Tracks major findings and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
- 20% Creates, controls, and maintains all forms, manuals, and other reference materials common to the subsidiary or company per the quality standards.
- 20% Plans, schedules, and tracks all external registration and surveillance audits for subsidiary or company. Provides appropriate senior management feedback and reporting on all external audit results. Ensures that all audit findings are corrected and implemented within established timeframes.
- 20% Monitors and reports compliance with corporate requirements, such as Service Level Agreements. Performs data analysis as required to effect improvements when necessary.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent work experience
Required Experience: 7 years experience in quality management systems development and implementation, including: 3 years auditing in accordance with ISO9000, TQM, Six Sigma, CMMI, or Baldridge criteria standards.
Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of Quality Management Systems methodology. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of automated records/reporting systems, including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve systems problems. Ability to prepare management reports and make presentations. Attention to detail.
