What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Solutions Test Engineer position at Spectra Logic?
As an experienced Sr Solutions Test engineer, you will lead user functional validation for major features or subsystems. You will drive test design, improve coverage, and contribute to system-level validation efforts.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Leading test design and execution for complex features or subsystems
• Developing comprehensive user functional validation strategies
• Identifying gaps in coverage and driving improvements
• Troubleshooting complex system issues across components
• Serving as a liaison between Service and Engineering, actively participating in customer escalations, driving timely resolution, and feeding escalation learnings back into the test process to improve coverage and prevent recurrence
• Mentoring junior engineers
• Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure feature quality

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
• B.S. degree or equivalent experience
• 5–8 years of experience in software testing
• Strong system-level testing and debugging skills
• Experience validating complex workflows and integrations
• Ability to lead test efforts independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Compensation - 125-185K/ year.
Compensation: While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate’s actual salary will be competitive within the range, based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
