Responsibilities
- Able to work under the direction of a supervisor
- Process prescriptions using OnDemand Express III machine
- Operate, troubleshoot and maintain OnDemand Express III machine and other automated packaging systems
- Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and pharmacy supplies
- Maintain floor stock, including restocking and timely removal of expired medications
- Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls
- Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications
- Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment
- Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards
- Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Experience with robotic packaging systems
- Previous data entry experience preferred
- Experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation systems preferred
- Long Term Care pharmacy experience, a plus
- Previous experience working in automated environment
- Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented
- Ability to physically perform light lifting
