Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Provide proper maintenance for Heidelberg/Goss printing presses and auxiliary printing equipment. Also performs procedures to promote the efficient and safe operation of equipment, facilities and work areas.

· Diagnose press malfunctions or operating problems and make repairs and adjustments as needed to keep equipment in production.

· Repair and maintain press equipment.

· Move and install equipment to support production requirements.

· Read, interpret and understand electrical/mechanical diagrams.

· Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical/electronic control systems.

· Investigate and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment used in the facility.

· Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical knowledge in a manufacturing environment required.

· Operate and use hoist truck, lifts, computer, welder, rigging equipment, micrometer, depth gauge, caliper and other basic hand and power tools.

· Capable of executing emergency repairs in high pressure situations.

· Maintain parts inventory.

Qualifications:

· Preferred: Five plus years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment related to machine repairs and maintenance.

· Highly skilled in electrical and/or PLC

· High school degree required. Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics. Ability to troubleshoot and work through problems.

· Ability to work overtime – mandatory as well as voluntary when needed.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift fifty pounds.

· Must possess full range of motor/motion skills in all body areas.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
