What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

• Installing and configuring industrial equipment and control systems at customer sites
• Performing system integration, testing and commissioning to meet design and performance standards
• Troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing corrective actions in the field
• Collaborating with engineering, operations and customer teams to resolve technical issues
• Documenting system configurations, test results and field modifications using AutoCAD and technical drawings
• Supporting equipment startup, optimization and training at customer locations
• Conducting preventive maintenance inspections and recommending system improvements
• Communicating technical findings and project status to internal teams and clients

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

Must-have

• 2–5 years of hands-on field engineering, installation or technical support experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for reading and interpreting technical drawings and designs
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with mechanical, electrical or control systems
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment deployment or comparable field environments
• Ability to work independently at customer sites and manage time effectively
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationwide
• Authorization to work in the United States

Nice-to-have

• Certification in a relevant discipline (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC)
• Experience with PLC programming or control system commissioning
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols (OSHA, ISO)
• Familiarity with remote diagnostics or IoT-enabled equipment monitoring
