Special Tree Rehabilitation System is seeking a Limited Licensed Psychologist who thrives in a hands-on, team-based environment and is passionate about making a real impact in the lives of individuals with TBI, SCI, and complex neurobehavioral needs.
This is not a desk-only role—this is a highly interactive position where you will actively shape behavior programs, coach team members in real time, and support clients and families through meaningful change.
What You’ll Do
- Lead behavioral assessment, program development, and implementation in AFC/LTC settings
- Work side-by-side with interdisciplinary teams (nursing, therapy, direct care) to integrate behavior strategies into daily care
- Provide real-time coaching and training to team members on behavior management and trauma-informed approaches
- Deliver individual and family counseling
- Monitor and adjust behavior plans to ensure consistency, safety, and outcomes
- Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and program development
- Ensure compliant, high-quality documentation (MI AFC R 400 & LTC standards)
What We’re Looking For
- Limited License Psychologist
- Licensed in the State of Michigan
- Preferred Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology
- Experience in behavioral programming and applied behavior analysis
- Background in rehab, AFC, LTC, or neuro populations preferred
- Strong ability to train, coach, and collaborate with teams
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
