RN Afternoons Clinical Manager
Special Tree Rehabilitation Services – Romulus, MI
Special Tree, a nationally recognized leader in neuro-rehabilitation and post-acute care, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Manager to join our leadership team. Celebrating over 50 years of excellence, Special Tree provides advanced rehabilitation services for individuals recovering from brain injury, spinal cord injury, and neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit
- Provide leadership and supervision to Respiratory Therapists (RTs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Rehabilitation Support Technicians (RSTs).
- Coordinate staffing, clinical, and administrative activities across assigned shifts
- Exercise sound clinical judgment and decision-making
- Support staff and assist with patient care as needed
- Assist with pre-admission evaluations
Qualifications
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse License (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
- 1 year management experience
- Medicare knowledge or experience a plus.
- Experience in rehabilitation, acute care, long-term care, or sub-acute settings preferred
- Knowledge of LTC regulations and reimbursement practices
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
Schedule
- 5 days per week, 8-hour afternoons shifts
- Participate in the on-call rotation
Compensation
• $87,500 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
