Job Overview: Special Tree Rehabilitation is looking kindhearted, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to help provide day-to-day care for patients as they recover from traumatic injuries. This role is a good foundation if you’re looking to transition into nursing or other healthcare positions.
About Special Tree: We provide specialized care and rehabilitation for individuals recovering from car accidents, strokes, and other life-altering events at our specialty rehabilitation center in Romulus, Michigan.
Job Description:
- As a Rehabilitation Service Technician Certified or Direct Care, you are a key contributor and works in a team environment to care for clients.
- Help patients during their recovery
- Assist with ADLs: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, eating and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Track vital signs and share updates with the team
- Record care activities in the electronic health record (Point Click Care)
- Offer reassurance and comfort to patients and families
Qualifications:

Full-time opportunity
- Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Nights: 7:00 PM -7:00 AM
Schedule per week includes:
- Three 12-hour shifts
- One 4-hour shift
- Total of 40 hours per week
Competitive Pay
- Direct Care (not certified): $18.10 per hour
- Certified Nurse Assistant: $19.60 per hour
