We are actively seeking to hire Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Social workers who are dedicated, motivated, and passionate about mental health. Our patient population is typically kids, students, and professionals from around the Metro Detroit area which has proven to be an interesting, and fulfilling population to work with. We are seeing a growing need for clinicians interested in working with kids & teens, but a generalist practitioner would do well in our clinic!

We do provide supervision to limited license providers and have found some great passionate people who are early in their careers. Great providers can be found in my stages of their career!

At Joy Family Center, through our network of physicians, psychiatrists, and community providers we’ve developed relationships with provide a variety of patients reflective of the communities we serve. We have a growing waitlist and would love to bring on additional clinicians to join our awesome team. We want our patients to be comfortable, respected, and competently cared for when they work with our clinicians. We prioritize strong therapeutic relationships in combination with evidence-based treatment, in a comfortable and professional environment. We believe in being honest, open, and direct as clinicians and as colleagues.

We are hiring for our newly opened West Bloomfield office, but also offer telehealth appointments allowing for a hybrid schedule. Speaking of schedule, we want our clinicians to be able to balance work/home/friends/travel/kids and that is why you make your own schedule and decide which cases you'd like to take. We really prioritize work/life balance and don't promote a style of working that leads to burnout. We want you to take care of yourself so you can take care of your patients. Another way we do this is we provide an AI program for note taking, that drastically reduces the time spent on paperwork and documentation!

We are looking to hire 1-2 people who desire to see a caseload of 20 patients a week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychotherapy and/or assessment in accordance with patient need and clinical indication
• Utilize evidence-based treatment and provide best practice care
• Conduct regular appointments with clients based on patient need and treatment plan
• Establish positive and trusting relationships with patients
• Document encounters utilizing an electronic medical records system in a prompt manner in accordance with industry standards
• Maintain your professional license and liability insurance
• Conduct yourself in accordance with professional guidelines and standards
• Maintain a professional and collegial atmosphere with colleagues, and coworkers alike

License/ Certifications: We prefer fully licensed psychologists and social workers, however, those newly graduated and with limited license are welcome to apply. We can offer supervision for psychologists working toward licensure.

Education: Doctorate preferred, Masters accepted

Experience: We prefer those with 1-2 years of practice experience in related types of settings as outpatient mental health. Those with diversified interests and experiences are encouraged to apply.

• As a 1099 affiliate you will be entitled to choose patients as you deem appropriate, and choose your schedule as you wish so long as patient needs are being appropriately managed.
• Many of our staff work 3-4 days per week at the times they wish and find the independence greatly rewarding over the demands of working a traditional 9-5. You decide your availability.
• Company email, listing on our website, and marketing are provided and included. We work to let the community know how great our providers are.
• The ability to work from anywhere your license allows so long as you have a reliable internet connection.
• All of our staff is paneled with Blue Cross Blue Shield, and many other top commercial insurances which allow for a steady stream of strong income.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
