As a Special School District (SSD) early childhood teacher, you provide individualized instruction and support tailored to your students' diverse learning abilities, ensuring they reach their full potential. Special education teachers work closely with professionals across various disciplines. Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, specialization in special education preferred
- Classroom experience preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) teaching certificate in Early Childhood Special Education required

- $49,000 to $83,250/year based on experience and education
Calendar
- 10-month school year (August to June), exact dates dependent on assigned location
