SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM ASSISTANT I - BILINGUAL (Part Time)

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district.  

The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner:

• Assists students with a patient and friendly attitude and provide oral support in a non-judgemental, non-reactive manner. 
• Assists instructional personnel with the development of a variety of instructional materials. 
• Assist in the presentation of physical and digital learning materials and instructional tasks. 
• Performs other related job duties as assigned.
• Must read, write, and speak Spanish. May provide written and oral translations, as needed.

DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

• LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: Student Year Employee Calendar
• WORK SITE: Fallbrook Stem Academy 
• WORK SCHEDULE: 3.92 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday - Friday, 9:50 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. 
• BENEFITS: Benefit package includes, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
• REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate’s Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; experience working with people of various cultures; one (1) year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable, preferably including children with special needs, supplemented by courses in atypical students, psychology or guidance; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.

• General Proficiency test is not required if you have an Associate or Bachelor's degree; however, proof of degree must be scanned and submitted (uploaded and attached) to your application. Bilingual test is required, you will not considered if Bilingual test is not completed.

Salary : $19 - $22
