What You’ll Do
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment
- Load, unload, and move materials using a forklift
- Stage and organize products for outgoing shipments
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials to ensure quality standards are met
- Shrink wrap, box, and palletize products for safe transport
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all safety procedures and standard operating guidelines
- Communicate with drivers, vendors, and team members in a professional manner
- Support other departments as needed
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
- Forklift experience required (certification required within 30 days—we’ll help you get it)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of Bills of Lading (BOL) and standard shipping documentation
- Familiarity with full truckload (FTL) weight limits and load capacity guidelines
- Experience loading and unloading a variety of equipment, including box trucks, vans, rail containers, and flatbeds, with mixed freight
- HAZMAT experience or certification preferred, but not required
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment physical exam.
