We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Production Shipping Associate to join our team. In this role, you will support the production process and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Shipping Associate
The Shipping Associate is responsible for the organization of orders, the process of reviewing the orders, and loading the trucks with the orders as directed by their supervisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Following company safety and company rules & procedures
  • Following directions regarding workflow, provided by a member of the Bridgewood Cabinetry leadership team
  • Keeping the department clean, organized, and free of clutter.
  • Follow workflow production schedule directions from leadership.
  • Reviewing orders and, the number of products, ensuring packaging is sufficient, and loading the truck.
  • Operation of tools as needed such as a tape gun or Stanley knife.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be able to read and write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
  • Must be able to efficiently read a tape measure and other measuring devices accurately.
  • Must be detail-orientated and a stickler for the details.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No experience operating tools is required but is beneficial for the position.
  • Must be able to safely operate tools
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
  • Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs frequently, regularly lift/move up to 50lbs, occasionally team lifting/move items over 50lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull/move up to 100lbs
  • Must be comfortable working with frequent vibration from machinery
  • Constantly, lifting, reaching, handling, and grasping.
  • Being on one’s feet for 8 hours and any overtime required for production needs, walking and standing throughout the shift.
  • Occasionally kneeling or bending.
  • Ability to frequently go from one location to another to gather product or frequently carry product
  • Must be comfortable wearing hearing protection as this is a loud environment.
Schedule:
Day Shift Only - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Up to 4:30 PM)
Monday - Friday (Saturdays as scheduled)
