Job Summary:
This full-time role is focused on the accurate batching and production of liquid epoxy products. The Batch Maker is responsible for measuring, mixing, and compounding raw materials according to established formulas and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, consistency, and safe manufacturing practices.
Hours: 7am-3:30PM, Monday- Friday

The Batch Maker is responsible for measuring, mixing, and compounding raw materials according to established formulas and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, consistency, and safe manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately measure and batch raw materials following production formulas and batch tickets
- Operate mixing and blending equipment, including Cowles/Disperser mixers and pumps
- Monitor batch processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to specifications
- Record batch data, complete production documentation, and submit samples to QA Lab
- Stage and verify raw materials prior to batching
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and cleaning between batches
- Label and identify products correctly for storage and distribution
- Follow all SOPs and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE (respirator, gloves, apron)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of batching, mixing, or manufacturing experience (chemical manufacturing preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and formulas
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. frequently
- Basic math skills for weighing and measuring materials accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift experience or willingness to learn
- Must be able to wear a respirator and other required PPE
