Position Summary
100% Remote | Applicants must reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, NC, PA, RI, SC, VA, WV, or WI.
The Business Services Supervisor, under the guidance of Business Services Managers, is responsible for the oversight of billing staff in the revenue cycle. This includes all revenue management, denials management, collections, patient financial services and payment processing in the Business office. The supervisor is responsible for assisting Business Services mangers in effectively managing Accounts Receivable to include the timely collections of account balances from insurance companies, governmental payers, and any other source(s) of payment while maintaining positive customer and inter-department relations. The supervisor will oversee the insurance payer communications and issue tracking.
The supervisor is responsible for goal seating, tracking performance and quality measures for staff they are assigned. As a leader in business services this position is responsible for assisting the manager and director in assuring departmental budget goals are on track regarding departmental staffing and supplies. The supervisor is responsible for overseeing initiatives that promote effectiveness and efficiencies within the operational scope of Business services. Responsible for other functions as assigned by Business Services managers or the directors.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5 years successful work experience in a Physicians and/or Hospital Revenue Cycle position
- N/A
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 8 years successful work experience in a similar position
- Supervisory experience
- Coding or Revenue Cycle related certification
