Role Description The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hazlet, NJ. This position manages end-to-end recruiting activities, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, and guiding candidates through the hiring process. The specialist will partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define role requirements, and create compelling job postings that align with Spartan Capital’s employer brand. Daily responsibilities include maintaining candidate pipelines, using applicant tracking systems, engaging in proactive outreach, and supporting onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new team members. The role also contributes to employer branding initiatives and continuous improvement of recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle: crafting job descriptions, posting roles, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring managers
• Build and maintain pipelines of top talent for recurring roles (sales, underwriting, ops, etc.)
• Develop and execute recruiting strategies across Indeed, Linkedin, job boards, college career fairs, state and local job fairs, and referral networks
• Maintain accurate and timely communication with all candidates to ensure a top-tier applicant experience
• Track applicants and performance metrics using our internal systems or ATS tools

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Full-life Cycle Recruiting and Recruiting to manage the complete hiring process from sourcing to offer acceptance.
• Candidates should possess skills in Hiring and Interviewing to evaluate talent, facilitate fair assessments, and support effective selection decisions.
• Candidates should possess skills in Employer Branding to help promote Spartan Capital as an attractive place to work and support talent attraction strategies.
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and online sourcing tools, with the ability to use data and metrics to inform recruiting decisions.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requisitions.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or high-growth environments is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
