Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Shipping Clerk.

This role is essential in ensuring the efficient processing of shipments, accurate inventory management, and seamless coordination of shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency with warehouse management systems, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety. Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately using order picking and packing procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts safely to load and unload goods.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management software to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and ensure data entry accuracy.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule shipments, verify shipping & receiving documentation, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Maintain organized storage areas by stocking products efficiently and conducting regular inventory counts using inventory management systems.
• Assist in order fulfillment processes by picking items from shelves based on order specifications, ensuring timely dispatch.
• Support shipping logistics activities by preparing shipping labels, completing customs documentation, and ensuring trade compliance.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve shipment issues or discrepancies promptly.
• Follow safety protocols during all warehouse operations to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and logistics processes.
• Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external partners.

This is a full time position.

Our hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 AM-1:00 PM.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39.0 per week
