Spark by Hilton of Lynchburg seeks a qualified Guest Service Agent with a high level of professionalism and effective decision making skills. Applicant must possess strong interpersonal and administrative skills. We are seeking an individual available for 1-3 shifts per week and available to fill in for extra shifts as needed. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.
Applicant will be responsible for registering guests to their assigned rooms, answering multi-line phones and answering questions specific to our property and/or local area, accommodating special requests, communicating with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms, handling payments (cash, credit card, direct bill, gift cards), maintaining a neat and clean front desk area, running and maintaining reports and/or logs, keeping up with and following brand standards, maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
Ideal applicant will be a self motivated individual and be able to work independently. Applicant must have a flexible schedule and a valid drivers license. Must have an upbeat attitude and be willing to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests.
