Hotel Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas with attention to hygiene standards
• Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and applying appropriate floor care techniques
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens to ensure readiness for residents or guests
• Follow established sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing specific requests and ensuring a positive experience for residents or visitors

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and floor care methods including carpet cleaning
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Experience with laundry operations and custodial responsibilities preferred
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
