Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. As the Night Auditor, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of financial records, managing guest services during nighttime hours, and supporting the front desk team with various administrative and customer service duties. Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of daily financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage late-night check-ins and check-outs efficiently, providing friendly and professional guest service via phone and in person.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and handle special requests with a positive attitude, demonstrating excellent customer service problem-solving skills.
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting visual inspections of the property, and following hotel emergency procedures when necessary.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, practicing proper phone etiquette while assisting guests or directing calls appropriately.
- Support front desk operations by managing reservations through hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS), including handling modifications or cancellations.
- Assist in guest relations efforts by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Collaborate with hotel management to uphold safety standards, including emergency procedures and guest safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with resort experience.
- Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Excellent phone communication skills, including multi-line phone system operation and phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in night audit roles or hotel experience is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational accuracy.
