Duties

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers, equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Handle textiles and laundry materials carefully, including heavy lifting of linens, towels, and garments using push carts or other equipment.
• Perform cleaning tasks by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry items efficiently.
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents according to safety protocols.
• Ensure proper materials handling by following manual handling procedures to prevent injury and damage to textiles.
• Assist with customer service by responding promptly to requests for laundry services or special garment care needs.
• Follow safety protocols in production areas to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to operate garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers, cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to ensure compliance at all times.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction.
