What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Laundry & Room Attendant (Part-Time) position at Hotel Veritas?
Hotel Veritas is an independent, 31-room, high-end hotel in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA.
We are looking to hire a Part-Time Hotel Laundry & Room Attendant. Hotel experience is preferred but NOT required. Professional cleaning experience IS required.
Our guest rooms are small compared to standard hotels (about 200 square feet), and room attendants will clean between 5 to 10 rooms per day.
The position will provide between 3 to 4 days (28 to 32 hours) per week / based on hotel needs. Housekeeping hours at Veritas are from 8am to 3:30pm.
Position Responsibilities:
- Run Laundry for guest linens and towels
- Fold laundry and prepare laundry carts
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
- Work on your feet for long periods of time
- Multi-task and work a flexible schedule
- Guest room cleaning
- Trash Collection
- Making Beds
- Polish Glass
- Hotel Cleaning
- Other special projects assigned by management
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
