Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly phone etiquette and professional demeanor
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle guest inquiries, reservations, and service requests efficiently
- Check guests in and out using hotel management software such as OPERA, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and emergency procedures to enhance guest experience
- Assist with guest services including room assignments, special requests, and resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain security protocols at the front desk, including monitoring access and adhering to hotel emergency procedures
- Support night audit activities when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Familiarity with hotel management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and hospitality best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems confidently
- Previous experience in night audit functions or resort settings is a plus but not mandatory
