What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Coordinator position at Spare Time Entertainment?
What You’ll Do
Bring the party to life!
- Support the Event Manager in planning and coordinating birthday parties and group events
- Confirm event details with guests, offer add-ons, and make sure every detail is set up for success
- Prep party spaces, tables, and supplies so everything is ready to go
Own the guest experience
- Greet guests, host parties, and be the go-to person throughout the event
- Check in with party hosts (especially parents) to make sure everything is going smoothly and step in quickly if anything needs adjusting
- Keep the energy up, lead celebrations, and help create a fun, memorable experience
Lead the team on the floor
- Guide and support the Party Patrol team during events
- Help train new teammates and provide ongoing coaching
- Coordinate across departments (kitchen, front desk, attractions) to keep events running smoothly
Keep things moving
- Oversee party flow across bowling, arcade, laser tag, and other attractions
- Enter and manage food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery
- Assist with payments, tabs, and making sure everything is accurate and wrapped up cleanly
Reset and repeat
- Help break down and reset party areas quickly for the next group
- Stay organized with paperwork and daily responsibilities
- Jump in wherever needed—this is a team-first environment
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of experience in guest service, hospitality, or events
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people
- Organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- A team player who leads by example and isn’t afraid to jump in
