What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Spare Time Entertainment?
What You’ll Do
- Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prep, cook, and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
- Practice portion control and minimize waste to help keep costs on track
- Keep service running smoothly by restocking ingredients and staying ahead of prep times
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation, including equipment, tables, shelves, and trash areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all ingredients and finished dishes
- Complete opening and closing kitchen tasks
- Assist with special functions and events as needed
