Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Loader Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load, unload, and move materials efficiently at our sand pit location. Your expertise in operating loaders will be essential to ensuring smooth project workflows. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling machines, and paving equipment to perform various construction tasks.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate material movement and ensure timely completion of project phases.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and operational logs.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Prior experience working on construction sites with familiarity in site preparation, paving operations, or related activities.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation.
- Hands-on experience with various construction machinery brands, like John Deere, is preferred but not mandatory. Join us in building something great! Pay: $22.72 - $28.00 per hour
